Asked to shoot a local, rec Rugby game. This kid was a beast which made this shot set itself up. Knew it was coming and happened to be at the right place, at the right time.
The Masters and Rickie Fowler.. Loved the idea of shooting through spectators and using them as some sort of framing mechanism.
I waited years for this shot, literally. Twilight Criterium in Athens, Georgia has been been a long time favorite of mine just to attend, much less shoot. I envisioned this one evening just walking Washington Street but for the longest time the race route changed direction or completely the following few years. Then a couple years of over cast conditions prevailed. Finally got my chance after about 6 years. It turned out OK I'd say.
